Still not sure what I think about the whole thing. I have a high school reunion coming up this summer and have been debating going. At this point I'm thinking I'll just get in contact with the 10+ people that I'd care to talk with again... much easier and less messy - plus with the whole reunion thing there's the chance those few people won't be going. It's been fun finding people again. I did notice that there were tons of people on there that I've been perfectly happy no seeing all these years... that's kind of potentially awkward. Otherwise - the interface seems unnecessarily complicated. We'll see how it goes.
As for this summer - I've been looking around in NYC for a class to take doing sculpture or digital sculpture mattering the location/teacher/class. I'm still hoping NYAA will do their horse ecorche one of these semesters... sadly it just isn't going to be this one. Otherwise I've been searching to no avail for a zbrush/maya/mudbox class for sculpture. Most are just an into class or straight into animation. Lo and behold I went looking around today and discovered the perfect class - two weeks ago at SVA. Painful. Painful. Painful. It was absolutely perfect. I had already searched through their offerings a couple months ago when the schedule was published. Didn't see this class at all or I would have jumped on it. Ah well - here's hoping the class will be happening again in the future!
Anyway - for now, back to work. Hopefully there will be some sculpture updates one of these days. I'm foreseeing time come July...
